We had another amazing year here at the studio in 2013.
As we thank you all of you for your hard work and dedication I would like to announce our client of the year.
Every year this is a really tough decision as many people have gotten amazing results and could have gotten it. However I made my decision and 2013 belongs to John Mitchell!
John has lost 67.6lbs so far, 29% of his total body weight! Those are some crazy results. Very motivating!
Johns consistency with the workouts has been amazing, it always is with the people who get results. The great and inspiring thing about him is that he did not give up. He did not have success right away, but he believed me when I told him that if he put is all into it, that it would be the greateast decision he ever made. He is a new man, he walks with the confidence that only comes with having worked hard for your success.
I really enjoyed watching how John really took the time to learn about what proper nutrition was. As we all know, working out is only half the battle. I also love how passionate he is about not making excuses and just making it happen. Both taking the time to workout each day and constantly learning how many calories are in new foods, reading labels, and taking nothing for granted. Way to go John, we are so proud of you! (ps you have to start collecting some of this fan mail, the studio office is getting crowded 🙂 ).
John wasn’t the only one that got great results. There are too many of you to mention everyone, but here are a couple of the other nominations for this year.
When I asked Fabian about his input he immediately talked about Jeff and his hard work. The word Fab used, and his face lit up when he said it, was DETERMINATION. He was psyched how determined and dedicated he is. Jeff is down almost 50lbs now! We can’t wait to see you keep it going in 2014.
Todd wasn’t going to let me do this blog post without mentioning Cherie. She showed us what ‘ no excuses’ is all about. A broken elbow and ACL surgery both in 2013 didn’t slow her down one bit. She kept working out the whole time, finding ways to keep it going while she worked around her injuries. Truly inspiration for anyone that tries to have an excuse why they can’t workout.
Jane made a very strong case for Emmy, she sent me a in depth email that was very passionate about her feelings for Emmy’s accomplishments over the past few years as a One on One Fitness-er. Saying “Emmy has not only accomplished weight loss but she has a new passion for fitness….she always does her homework…is eager to learn more….she has inspired her Husband and son to start working out too…other people in our bootcamp look up to her… Jane and the rest of us are so happy that we can call you a ‘One on One Fitness-er” Emmy. Keep up the good work!
-Altough they are fairly new to the studio, both joining in the fall, Andrew put up a good case for Patty and Sam who started late in this year but are already down over 20lbs and 30lbs respectively! Whohoo! 2014 Client of the year?
Other highlights:
-Janet F and Kelly M making this years Healthy by Accident Weight loss challenge, our most successful ever, exciting down to the last week. We had dozens of people lose 10, 20, and over 30lbs in 8 weeks!
-Jenni and Alissa have been killing it at Bootcamp. Down over 36lbs combined!
-We had several people join the “Pullup Club”. Kelly H. and Janet L. are a couple that come to mind! A woman (that may or may not be 60 yrs old) can do 5 pullups! Really?!
-Mike O breaking the 50lbs lost mark this year a day I’ll remember!
-Jen S is currently on fire getting ready for her big day. Best I have ever seen her at. Keep up the good work.
-Kristina you never give yourself enough credit but you continue to inspire me. Going through the mental battle of losing a lot of weight and then letting yourself know its ok to putting baby weight on while your pregnant and not to lose your marbles knowing all the hard work it took to get that number on the scale down. Now you have a great little man to show and your back on track losing weight, being healthy, and balancing the ever challenging work of being a mother/wife/worker.
-Too many first time 5k, 10k, and half marathoners to mention. I would be afraid of leaving someone out, but keep up the great work everyone!
All the people keeping weight off, Jay, Jamie coming back from shoulder surgery and still doing fantastic, Heather, Owen….Ahhhh to many to name. There are so many people I would like to name, we keep growing every year and I know I’m leaving some pretty amazing stories out, but I just hope that each one of you know how much we love working with you. You inspire us and YOU are the reason why we love our “jobs”. Thanks again, I hope you and your family have an amazing holiday season, and I look forward to seeing what you can do in 2014.
